Talk Talk Talk
Sieun Lee, head designer of CTBT Studio and head of the planning team at the Korean Artists Association of New York, presented as a moderator and conducted the panel at ‘Talk Talk Talk’ on October 1st with Korean Artists Association of New York (KANA) for its 13th signature talk series at Seoul Salon NYC, located near Koreatown in Manhattan.
This event featured the theme ‘Branding: Mastering the Art of Identity’, and Ahris Kim, Chloe & Kate, and Catherine Choi were invited to deliver vivid stories about branding to those who attended.
Among the panelists in this talk series, Ahris Kim is the Operation Director of NA:EUN Hospitality and is currently in charge of operating famous restaurants in New York such as Atomix, Atoboy, and Naro. Chloe & Kate, the two CEOs, run Avec NYC, a New York-based jewelry fashion brand that is worn by celebrities such as BTS, Suzy, and Kim Hee-ae, and collaborates with famous magazines such as Vogue and Allure in New York, Japan, and Korea. Lastly, Catherine Choi worked as an Art Director at SJR Consulting Company and is currently working as a Senior Creative Designer at Ralph Lauren.
The panelists and moderators shared with attendees their specific experiences in approaching the field of branding in the world's fastest-changing city, New York City, and provided advice to the attendees that are considering their career paths. After the talk, a Q&A session was held, followed by time for networking while enjoying creative canapés (finger foods) and cocktails that were prepared by the Cana Culinary Team, which is composed of chefs from The Culinary Institute of America (CIA Culinary Institute of America), one of the world's top three culinary schools.
